Translavic BV founded by Ewa Posecka and Jeroen Hesp.
Won contracts with several leading translation agencies in The Netherlands.
Established a clientele of small and medium enterprises in the Twente region of East Netherlands.
Mirjam Kolkman joined the team as Production Manager.
Rianke Lubberding recruited as Resource Manager, tasked with expanding the network of freelance translators proficient in Eastern European languages.
Translavic BV certified according to EN-15038.
Became TILP certified (The Institute of Localisation Professionals) and expanded into software localisation. Translated more than 2,000,000 words into Polish and Russian for a major US based IT vendor.
Translavic Polska SP. z o.o. was established in Wrocław, Poland. For translations into Polish, Translavic BV now uses in-house translators employed by this company, as well as the freelance network. www.translavic.pl
Successfully passed yearly audit for EN-15038.
Won framework contract with European Commission requiring the translation of technical data for Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment and Natural Sciences.
