In November 2007 Translavic BV was the first Dutch translation agency to receive the quality certificate in accordance with the European standard EN-15038 for translation services. We are extremely proud of this achievement!

The EN-15038:2006 is a specific European standard for translation services which covers the core translation process and all other related aspects involved in providing that service, including quality assurance and documentation. It offers translation service providers and more importantly their clients a precise definition of the entire service through a set of procedures and requirements designed to meet market needs.

Any translation service under EN-15038 must include translation and revision as a minimum. Translators and revisers who take part in translation projects must demonstrate the professional competences specified in the standard by meeting education and experience requirements. Each translation project should be overseen by a project manager and be carried out according to internal procedures and in accordance with the project expectations and requirements agreed upon.
